POSITANO: THE PEARL OF THE AMALFI COAST
Positano, located on Italy’s Amalfi coast, is a breathtakingly beautiful vacation destination.
Colorful homes, shops and flowers all hover above clear turquoise waters. While there, you can take part in the elegant social life or enjoy the privacy of your own villa!
Originally a fishing town, it is now a wonderful shopping destination. The infamous Wall of Jewelry sells goods along a wall facing a church. Coral is very popular.
What is the best way to spend your time in Positano? Let me tell you. It’s a win-win situation. Spend the day resting in the sun while enjoying the local liquors made from citrus fruits, wild strawberries, roses and walnuts.
Or, take a guided tour of the areas vast seabeds. Waterfalls and rare tropical plants makes this an incredible visual experience.
You’ll never go hungry in Positano. Local delicacies include spaghetti with claims cooked in extra virgin olive oil, fish soups, fried anchovies in mint, sword fish parcels and peppered muscles. For dessert, try the ’babarese’, a babà filled with cream and wild strawberries.
And if there’s one can’t miss restaurant it’s Don Alfonso inside Le Sirenuse Hotel. Alfonso Iaccarino and his son Ernesto are world class chefs and really capture the essence of the region. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Taraci’s Tip of The Day: Positano, Italy is the perfect destination to include in your motivational award program!
