BILL CLINTON’S PANERAI LUMINOR WATCH!
(Image Via WENN)
Officine Panerai is a Swiss-owned watch brand of Italian origin. Founded in 1860, it later became the official supplier to the Royal Italian Navy. Today it is known for its excellence and is worn by men of style — from Bill Clinton to Pierce Brosnan.
In fact, the brand was relatively obscure until Sylvester Stallone bought one in Rome and wore it during shooting for the film Daylight. He liked the watch so much he ordered several for his friends, including Arnold Schwarzenegger. Stallone has said, “‘I immediately felt when I saw the watch that it had star power.”
The Luminor is its best known style and was created in the early 1940s for the Italian Navy. It is reliable, extremely resistant and easy to read. It is also water-resistant, so you don’t have to worry about removing it when you wash your hands or go to the beach.
The watch is also available in a left hand version, which features the winding crown and the device protecting the crown on the left-hand side of the case and the small seconds dial at 3 o’clock.
