As a lifelong New Yorker, restaurateur and food lover, I’m often asked for recommendations.  So here’s my arbitrary, completely biased, list of essential restaurants and they are perfect for today – Valentine’s Day. Some are fairly new. Others you may have forgotten in the rush to the newest, the hippest, the hottest, thing.
