The lead up to any big premier is always stressful, so some stars take a relaxing trip before the big day.

Sex and the City’s Kim Cattrall stayed at The Palazzo Las Vegas (above) in its luxurious Chairman Suite. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for the star treatment.

All suites are spacious and feature such decadence as marble baths. The suite that Kim stayed in is has three bedrooms and 8,000 square feet of space with living room, dining room, karaoke/entertainment room, gym, beautiful marble bathrooms, a private pool, spa and shower on the private outdoor deck. Extravagant!

You will definitely want to check out the shopping. There are more than 50 boutiques located in the hotel, including Christian Louboutin, Ralph Lauren and Barney’s, which Kim found to be “unbelievable!”

Another guest favorite is the Canyon Ranch Spa Club, which offers a range of services to help you relax. Not only can you get a massage, sit in an igloo (coming this July) or a manicure, but the spa also offers fitness options. The spa is attached to a pool where you can enjoy your own private cabana.

As for food and nightlife, the hotel has a range of options. Kim ate at Wolfgang Puck’s steakhouse CUT (above). I also recommend Mario Batali’s Carnevino and Emeril Lagasse’s Table 10. For after hours, swing by Jay Z’s 40/40 club or the Sugarcane Lounge, owned by the same operators of NYC’s Sushi Samba.

When a glam woman like Kim says, “Now this is how to enjoy Vegas,” you know you’re going to get the best!

Swarovski, the luxury brand know for its range of precision-cut lead crystal glass and related products, stole the spotlight (literally) at the Sex and the City Premier in NYC.

Over a half of a million dollars of dazzle including crystals on the pink carpet, adorning trees at the after party, covering the DJ’s booth and almost everywhere else were on full display.

The brand also makes several appearances in the film.

Check out the Era belt in black patent leather (above). This comes from the Spring 2008 collection and has a buckle set with square and rectangular crystals in various crystal colors. It adds just enough shimmer to add some glamour and not be overpowering.

The Nirvana ring (above), which appears on the finger of some of the key characters in the movie, consists of a large faceted light azure blue crystal and has an Aurora Borealis look. The inside is silver-plated and it also comes in black crystal.
